Find your match

Answer a few quick questions and the Matching Monkey will rank the forex brokers or prop firms that actually fit how you trade. About a minute.

How the Matching Monkey ranks brokers

Every broker and prop firm on MonkeyTrade is reviewed across five dimensions: Trust, Costs, Platforms, Usability and Support. A normal ranking fixes how much each of those counts. The quiz doesn't.

Your answers change the weighting instead. Say you trade daily and cost matters most, and Costs carries more of the score; say you're just starting out, and Usability and Support carry more. Firms that can't meet a hard requirement — your country, your platform, the assets you want — are filtered out before scoring rather than ranked low.

The order you see is the result of that weighted score alone. A commercial relationship does not move a firm up the list.

What the broker quiz asks

  • Your trading experience, from beginner to advanced
  • How often you plan to trade
  • Which assets you want — forex, indices, commodities, stocks, ETFs or crypto
  • Your preferred platform: MT4, MT5, cTrader or TradingView
  • Roughly how much you plan to deposit
  • What matters most to you (pick one or two)
  • Where you're based, since availability and regulation differ by country

Seven questions, about a minute. Any of them can be answered “Indifferent” if you have no preference.

What the prop firm quiz asks

  • Your trading experience
  • What matters most about getting funded
  • The funded account size you're aiming for
  • What you want to trade
  • Your preferred platform
  • Your priorities (pick one or two)
  • Where you're based

Frequently asked questions

How long does the quiz take?
Seven questions, usually under a minute. There's no sign-up and nothing to confirm by email — the shortlist appears as soon as you finish.
Where do the scores behind the results come from?
From our own reviews. Each broker and prop firm is rated on five dimensions — Trust, Costs, Platforms, Usability and Support — on a 0 to 5 scale. The quiz reweights those existing scores against your answers; it doesn't invent a separate rating.
Do paid partnerships affect the order of the results?
No. Results are sorted on the weighted score, then the underlying overall score, and ties break alphabetically. There is no commercial weighting in the ranking. We may earn a commission if you open an account through a link, and that never changes the order.
Why does it ask where I'm based?
Because it changes what you can actually use. Brokers accept clients from different countries under different regulators, and prop firms have their own restrictions. Firms unavailable where you live are removed rather than ranked lower, so the shortlist only contains options genuinely open to you.
What if I don't have a preference on a question?
Choose “Indifferent”. That question then carries no weight and the remaining answers decide the ranking, so you can skip anything you don't have a view on without skewing the result.
Can I take it again?
Yes, as often as you like — nothing is stored between attempts. Re-running it with different answers is a quick way to see how much a single priority, like cost or platform, changes the shortlist.
